Define what you want to change

Choose a base model, target market and target customer first. Then identify the exact customization: logo placement, handle colour, surface finish, mode text, brush-head or nozzle assortment, manual, and retail packaging. Share reference images and editable artwork if available.

Some changes are mainly print or packaging work; others affect materials, tooling, testing or assembly. We review feasibility and minimum quantities against the chosen platform and the complete scope rather than offering one MOQ for every project.

Make the sample decision explicit

A sample should answer questions about appearance and use. Agree on the model, colour standard, printed details, controls, accessories and package content. Record each approval in a versioned specification so the buyer and production team refer to the same configuration.

If several markets are involved, separate market-specific copy, plugs or packaging requirements. Confirm which formal documents apply to the finished configuration before you approve retail claims.

Plan production and delivery around approvals

Ask for a schedule with artwork approval, sample approval, material preparation, production, inspection and shipment milestones. Lead time depends on the model, quantity, component availability and changes requested. A new colour or a more involved product change needs its own timing assessment.

Before shipment, confirm carton marks, packing list, inspection arrangement and chosen logistics method. This makes the handover between product, sales and freight teams much clearer.
