Our cross-platform inventory contains 38 checks. It covers areas such as incoming components and appearance, product function and charging, durability, environmental conditions, and packaging. The applicable items differ between a sonic toothbrush, a water flosser and an ultrasonic cleaner.
A pressure-related test matters to a water flosser; a brush-head fit check belongs with a toothbrush. Ask for the exact test method, frequency and acceptance criteria on the ordered configuration rather than assuming every item applies to every model.
Review key checks in context
Function checks should cover the controls and operating modes the customer will actually use. Charging and electrical checks need to match the selected power configuration. Durability and environmental checks help assess repeated use and storage conditions. Packaging checks focus on whether the product and its accessories are protected in the agreed box and carton.
For visual inspection, define the viewing conditions and acceptable cosmetic variation with an approved sample. For a performance value, agree on how it will be measured and recorded.
Keep evidence tied to the approved order
The final specification, sample, artwork, package and inspection record should refer to the same product version. If a component or configuration changes after approval, review whether the relevant checks or documents need to be repeated.
